Daily Bijoy News, Homna Correspondent:

The people of Homna do not accept any outsider; no outsider has been able to gain an advantage in elections by coming to Homna. The people of Homna are highly conscientious and intelligent. They do not make mistakes in identifying the right person and ensure the victory of the deserving candidate through their votes, said M.A. Matin Khan, a nomination aspirant for the BNP in the Comilla-2 (Homna-Titas) constituency and former APS-2 Engineer of former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. At that time, he further stated, "I have come to score goals like Maradona; I have not come to play defensively. My goal is to get elected and go to Parliament. My aim is to develop Homna-Titas by taking all of you with me." He made these remarks at a leaflet distribution and public contact program for the implementation of the 31-point proposal for state structure reform presented by BNP's Acting Chairman, Mr. Tarique Rahman. At that time, he also said, "Currently, the BNP's 31 points are the charter of freedom for the nation: restoring people's voting rights, establishing the rule of law, and building an advanced, humane state. I am on the streets to serve the people of Homna-Titas as your son."

On Saturday afternoon (November 22), the leaflet distribution and public contact program for the BNP's 31 points were held at the Ashadpur Primary School field. At that time, along with Mohammad Jahangir Alam Sarkar, Chairman of Mathabhanga Union Parishad, youth league leader Tutul Rohan, joint convener of the upazila youth league Mohammad Mainuddin, joint convener of the youth league Mohammad Mokhlesur Rahman Babu, youth league leader Mohammad Ariful Islam Sohag, and numerous leaders and activists of the BNP and its associate organizations, a procession of over a hundred motorcycles from Panchabati reached Ashadpur with him around 2 PM. There, the leaders and activists delivered leaflets of the 31-point state repair proposal to the people, participated in the public contact, and joined the public meeting. Leaders and activists of the BNP and its associate organizations from Ashadpur Union were present at that time.
