Iftar items distributed among Imams in Golkhali Union, Galachipa

On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, Hafez Maulana Md. Saiful Islam, the donor of the Galachipa Upazila Imam Council and the former Imam and Khateeb of Dhaka Shantinagar Central Jame Mosque, distributed Iftar items among 110 people, including Imams and Muazzins, in Golkhali Union of Galachipa Upazila. He is the worthy eldest son of Mr. Md. Mosharraf Hossain Kanu Matubbar, President of Patuakhali District Mujahid Committee and General Secretary of Galachipa Upazila Mujahid Committee. Also present at the event were Hafez Abdul Qayyum, General Secretary of the Upazila Imam Council; Hafez Md. Shahidul Islam Badal, Organizing Secretary of the Upazila Imam Council; Maulana Shafiqul Islam of the Upazila Imam Council; Hafez Maulana Mahmud Hasan, Member of the Upazila Imam Council; Hafez Md. Saidul Islam, Publicity Secretary of the Upazila Imam Council; Md. Mahatab Hossain, founder of Haridebpur Hafizia Madrasa and Co-Organizing Secretary of the Upazila Imam Council; and Mr. Md. Mosharraf Hossain Kanu Matubbar, President of Patuakhali District Mujahid Committee and General Secretary of Galachipa Upazila Mujahid Committee, along with other local dignitaries.

The Imams and Muazzins were urged to maintain peace and order among the worshippers. They were also cautioned to remain vigilant against those who attempt to promote militancy in the name of Islam and to inform the worshippers about such activities. Islam is a religion of peace, and everyone was advised to refrain from conflicts and violence. They were also encouraged to remain alert so that no one can spread militancy by misusing the name of Islam.

Hafez Maulana Md. Saiful Islam, the donor of the Galachipa Upazila Imam Council and former Imam and Khateeb of Dhaka Shantinagar Central Jame Mosque, distributed blankets among the boatmen of Haridebpur in Golkhali Union of Galachipa Upazila. He also provided Punjabi dresses, caps, hijabs for girls, and other necessary items to the children at the Golkhali Women's Madrasa and Orphanage. He has taken responsibility for the education of 18 poor and helpless orphan children in Galachipa Upazila. He stated that this assistance will continue.
