In an operation by Kalia Thana Police in Narail, one person was arrested with 50 pieces of yaba tablets. Kalia Thana Police arrested a drug dealer named Jalil Khondakar (31). The arrested Jalil Khondakar (31) is the son of Aziz Khondakar from Khadria village in Pedli Union under Kalia Thana. Uzzal Roy, District Correspondent from Narail, reported that he was apprehended yesterday in front of Safiqul's salon shop at Khadria Pole Bazar in Pedli Union, Kalia Thana. Acting on confidential information, Officer-in-Charge of Kalia Thana, Md. Rashidul Islam, along with SI (Investigation) Md. Murad Hossain and a team, conducted the operation and arrested Jalil Khondakar (31). During the arrest, 50 pieces of yaba tablets were seized from the suspect. A case has been filed under the Narcotics Control Act at Kalia Thana Police Station. The accused has been handed over to the court. Under the guidance of Narail District Police Superintendent Kazi Ehsanul Kabir, the district police are working sincerely to build a drug-free Narail.
