The election for the Executive Committee-2025 of the Naogaon District Press Club has been held. ASM Raihan Alam was elected as President, and Belayet Hossain was elected as General Secretary. The election took place at the Naogaon District Press Club auditorium on Saturday (February 22) from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. ASM Raihan Alam, the representative of ATN Bangla and ATN News, secured 21 votes for the position of President. Belayet Hossain, the Naogaon district correspondent of Banglavision and Daily Manabkantha, was elected as General Secretary with 23 votes.

The results were announced by Abu Saleh Mohammad Masudul Haq, the Returning Officer of the Election Management Committee and Deputy Director of the Naogaon Information Office, around 7:00 PM on Saturday. The Election Management Committee members included Naogaon's Deputy Civil Surgeon Munir Ali Akand and Sheikh Anwar Hossain, the Naogaon district correspondent of Daily Amar Desh.

For the two Vice-President positions in the 15-member Executive Committee, Mir Mosharraf Hossain Jewel, the Naogaon district correspondent of The New Nation and Khaborpatra, and Sultanul Alam Milon, the Naogaon district correspondent of Samaj Sangbad, were elected. For the two Joint Secretary positions, Abdur Rauf Pavel, the Naogaon district correspondent of GTV, Khulna Kagoj, and Dhaka Tribune, and Babul Akhtar Rana, the Naogaon district correspondent of Bangladesh Pratidin, News24 TV, and BSS, were elected. Abu Raihan Rasel, the Naogaon district correspondent of Daily Alokito Sakal, was elected as Finance Secretary, Masud Rana, the district correspondent of Muktakhobor, as Office Secretary, and Suman Ali, the Naogaon district correspondent of Nagarik TV and Daily Sangbad, as Publicity Secretary.

For the six Executive Member positions, Emdadul Haque Suman, the representative of Daily Inqilab and Daily Bogura; Abdur Rauf Ripon, the representative of DIPTYO TV and Daily Bhorer Dak; Omar Farooq, the representative of Prothom Alo; GM Mithun, the representative of Daily Bangladesh Samachar; Obaidul Haque, the representative of Daily Observer; and Shamim Ansari, the representative of Daily Sangbad Konika, were elected. The new committee will serve for the next one year.
