The tri-annual conference of the Burichong Upazila Deed Writers Association has been held in Comilla. The conference was organized by the Bangladesh Deed Writers Association, Burichong Upazila branch, at Pansi Restaurant in Burichong Sadar on Tuesday (October 14). Presided over by the association's President, Mr. Md. Nurul Haq Master, and conducted by General Secretary, Mr. Md. Siddiqur Rahman, the event featured Md. Kabir Hossain, General Secretary of Burichong Upazila BNP, as the chief guest. The main speaker was Md. Kamal Hossain, former General Secretary of the upazila BNP. Speeches were given as special guests by Md. Humayun Kabir Babul, Organizing Secretary of the upazila BNP, Abu Yusuf Tuhin, Joint General Secretary, Abu Naser Munshi, Organizing Secretary, Farid Uddin Member, President of Sadar Union BNP, Md. Jabed Kaushar Sabuj, Convener of the upazila Juba Dal, and other leaders. At the end of the conference, the chief guest, Md. Kabir Hossain, announced a new 25-member committee, signed by the President of the District Deed Writers Association, Alhajj M.A.H. Manju, and General Secretary, Mia Md. Sohag Parvez. In the newly formed committee, Abu Hena Mustafa Kamal was elected as President, Mohammad Nazrul Islam Bhuiyan as General Secretary, and Md. Nuruzzaman as Organizing Secretary. The leaders of the new committee said, "We will continue to work for the professional development of deed writers and to maintain the unity of the organization."
