The Rangpur Range Commander conducted a training class based on the directives of the Director General of Ansar-VDP.

Mohammad Abdul Awal, BVM, PVSM, Additional Director General and Range Commander of the Rangpur Range of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Force, conducted an important session class on Thursday, October 30, for the ongoing 4th phase of basic training of upazila Ansar members in Kurigram district. He provided the trainees with a detailed understanding of their duties and prohibitions as members of Ansar-VDP. The Additional Director General clearly explained the timely directives given by the Force's Director General, Major General Md. Abdul Motalleb Sazzad Mahmud, to the members participating in this 14-day Ansar basic training.
In his valuable address, the Rangpur Range Commander informed the trainees about various socio-economic development initiatives undertaken by the Director General, especially discussing the "Sanjiban Project." Emphasizing the training module, he stressed the importance of acquiring necessary knowledge and skills, including the force's short-term deployment duties for puja and elections, organizational structure, rank-badge recognition, laws, and weapon handling. The Additional Director General expressed his hope that the trainees would be able to play an effective role in the welfare of the country and the nation in the future.
He expressed deep gratitude to the respected guardian Director General of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Force for organizing such an important training. Present during the training were A S M Sakawat Hossain, District Commandant of Kurigram Ansar and VDP, Md. Morshed Hossain, Sadar Upazila Ansar VDP Officer, and the Ansar members undergoing training. 150 Ansar members from Kurigram district are participating in this 14-day training. Md. Rashedul Islam, the Ansar VDP Officer of Rajibpur Upazila, is performing the duties of the full-time Training Instructor.
