An organizational meeting was held at the Dinajpur District Rice Mill Owners Group Community Center, organized by the Dinajpur District BNP and its associated organizations, demanding that the daughter of Dinajpur, Begum Khaleda Zia, be made the candidate for Dinajpur Sadar-3 constituency. This discussion meeting was held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 8:00 PM, demanding that Begum Khaleda Zia, the daughter of Dinajpur, be made the candidate from Dinajpur Sadar-3 constituency in the upcoming 13th National Parliament Election. At the discussion meeting, all the leaders of the BNP expressed their opinion in favor of making the party's Chairperson, Begum Khaleda Zia, the candidate for the Dinajpur Sadar-3 constituency in the upcoming election. All the leaders and workers of the associate organizations present at the event also supported this. At that time, the speakers said that to continue the development trend and to organize and unite the district BNP, there is no alternative to making Begum Khaleda Zia the candidate for Dinajpur Sadar-3 constituency.

The leaders demanded the immediate announcement of Begum Zia as the candidate from the event. At the discussion meeting, all other nomination aspirants for the Dinajpur Sadar-3 constituency were called upon to declare their support for Begum Khaleda Zia within 24 hours and withdraw their positions. Furthermore, the speakers also said that if Begum Khaleda Zia cannot, in any way, be a candidate for Dinajpur-3 constituency, then they will try to talk directly with Tarique Rahman so that Tarique Zia himself declares his candidacy for Dinajpur-3 constituency. No matter what, we want to see either Tarique Zia or Khaleda Zia as the candidate for Dinajpur-3 constituency. Meanwhile, other speakers said that to be united, all the leaders and workers of the district BNP, thana BNP, municipality, and all associate organizations will not leave the field until the candidate for constituency-3, Khaleda Zia, or Tarique Zia, gives us hope. We will not leave the field of constituency-3 until then. Especially if Khaleda Zia [is the candidate], there will be no divisions within Dinajpur district. We will work unitedly, Insha'Allah, all the leaders and workers of Dinajpur District BNP and its associate organizations.

At that time, other speakers also said that the work done by the late Khushid Jahan Haque, former MP, in Dinajpur is memorable. The Awami League government has not done even one easy task in 17 years. At the event, everyone unitedly supported Khaleda Zia first. In the meantime, the District BNP Acting General Secretary, Murad Ahmed, first announced the name of Khaleda Zia as the candidate for Dinajpur-3 constituency. The discussion meeting was presided over by Dinajpur District BNP's Acting General Secretary, Murad Ahmed. Speakers included Dinajpur District BNP Senior Vice-President Md. Mokarram Hossain, Vice-President Kharekuzzaman Babu, Alhaj Mahbub Ahmed, Akhtaruzzaman Jewel, District BNP Vice-President and Dinajpur Chamber President Alhaj Md. Abu Bakr Siddique, District BNP Vice-President Hasanuzzaman Uzzal, Organizing Secretary Aminul Islam Munna, and Dinajpur Municipal BNP President Ziaur Rahman Zia. Besides, presidents and convenors of various BNP associate organizations also spoke at the event. Leaders and workers from all BNP associate organizations, including Dinajpur District BNP, Municipal BNP, Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, Jatiyatabadi Swechchhasebak Dal, Jatiyatabadi Tarun Dal, Jatiyatabadi Krishak Dal, Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal, Jatiyatabadi Mahila Dal, Jatiyatabadi Tanti Dal, and Jatiyatabadi Matshyajibi Dal, were present at the discussion meeting. After the discussion meeting, Alhaj Mahbub Ahmed conducted a munajat (supplication). At this time, with raised hands, he prayed for the well-being of Begum Khaleda Zia and concluded the munajat by praying to Allah to see her as the candidate for Dinajpur-3 constituency.
