A prayer congregation was held, praying for the well-being of Begum Khaleda Zia, the uncompromising leader of democracy, former Prime Minister, and Chairperson of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party. The event was organized by the Sagar Dandi Union BNP, its front and associate organizations, held at the Sagar Dandi Union Parishad premises after Maghrib prayers on Thursday (December 04, 2025). Kazi Raunokul Islam Shraban, a member of BNP's National Executive Committee and the party's nominated candidate from Jessore-6 constituency, was present as the chief guest at the mahfil. Also present were Municipal BNP President Alhaj Abdul Samad Bishwas, Upazila BNP Vice-President and UP Chairman Teacher Alauddin Ala, Rezaul Islam, former Convener Mashiur Rahman, Sagar Dandi Union BNP General Secretary Sirajul Islam, former President Master Amanat Ali, General Secretary Syed Jafar Hasan Lovlu, former General Secretary of Bidyannandakati Union BNP Mahbubur Rahman Mallik, Municipal Youth Dal Convener Golam Mustafa, Member Secretary Mehedi Hasan Bishwas, along with leaders from various levels of the Union BNP and its front and associate organizations. The prayer congregation was conducted by Maulana Habibullah.
