Outgoing Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gobindaganj police station in Gaibandha, Mr. Bulbul Islam, was bid farewell, and the newly appointed Officer-in-Charge, Mr. Mozammel Haque, was welcomed. The reception program was organized at the office of the National Journalists' Organization, Gobindaganj Upazila branch, at 3 PM. The new OC was welcomed with floral greetings, and the outgoing OC was honored. The event was presided over by the Central Committee's Official Secretary-General of the National Journalists' Organization and the General Secretary of the Gaibandha District branch, Md. Sajjadur Rahman Saju.

Among others present were: Rafiqul Islam Mondal, President of the Reporters' Forum; former President Rafiqul Islam Rafiq; Shahin Alam, Vice President of the National Journalists' Organization; Kala Manik Das, General Secretary of the Reporters' Forum; Ansaruzzaman Rezwan, General Secretary of the National Journalists' Organization, Saghata; Zafar Iqbal Rana, Office Secretary, National Journalists' Organization, Gobindaganj Upazila branch; Khairul Bashar, NTV Gobindaganj Upazila correspondent; Shahidul Islam, Social Welfare Secretary, National Journalists' Organization; Shri Ratan Ghosh, Organizational Secretary, Reporters' Forum; Mizanur Rahman; Shailendra Mohan Ray Jibu; Rezwan Khan Rikhon, and others. At the event, speakers expressed gratitude and best wishes to both the outgoing and new officers, expressing hope that the law and order situation at the police station would be further strengthened and expecting the full cooperation of the journalist community.
