The daughter of Bogra, the pioneer of women's development in the country, prominent educationist, social worker and director of Ansar VDP Development Bank, Professor Dr. Hosne Ara Begum, a top local and international private development organization established by TMSS, organized under the education sector of Pundra University of Science and Technology, Islamic Studies Department. 2023 semester Masters and BA Honors program students are awarded on the basis of academic performance. The award distribution was held on Friday, May 31, at the meeting room of the main academic building of the university, on the initiative of the department of Islamic studies. Pundra University of Science and Technology Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Chittaranjan Mishra attended the prize distribution ceremony under the chairmanship of Dr. Istiyakul Alam Majumder, Head of the Department of Islamic Studies, and gave an instructive speech. Professor Dr. Hosne-Ara-Begum, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University and Founder Executive Director of TMSS, attended the event as the Guest of Honor and delivered various important speeches and distributed the awards. Dr. Md. Matiur Rahman, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University, Deputy Executive Director of TMSS-2, Rotarian Dr. Md. Matiur Rahman spoke as special guests. Treasurer Professor Muha. Sujan Shah-i Fazlul, University's Examination Controller Prof. Md. Ansar Ali Talukder and Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Prof. Dr. M. Atar Ali and others. Besides, TMSS advisor Sanjan Kumar Das and TMSS advisor BOT member Ayesha Begum were also present. Professor Dr. gave a welcome speech at the award ceremony. FMAH Taki. BA honors program students Jannatul Naeema, Qazi Rad Redwan, Sonia Khatun and Mansura Akhtar Meem etc. were awarded on the basis of their academic performance in the Summer-2023 semester of Islamic Studies Department. Md. Enamul Haque, Md. Sanaullah, Md. Abdul Mannan and Mosha Mohana Khatun were awarded in MA (2 years) programme. Apart from this, students are also awarded on the basis of class attendance. The program was conducted and presented by Dr. Imtiazul Alam Mahfuz. Heads of various departments of the university, teachers, private secretary of the executive director Md. Ferdous Rahman, students, parents of students, people of various classes, senior officials of TMSS, representatives of electronic and print media were present in the ceremony.
