Narsingdi's Manohardi-Belabte upazila election day, preparations for voting are underway

Narsingdi Manohardi-Belabte upazila election day, preparation for voting is going on. In the second phase, polling will be held tomorrow in Manohardi and Belab upazilas of Narsingdi. By Monday (May 20) noon, all other election materials except the ballot paper have reached the center. These materials were distributed from Manohardi and Belab Upazila Parishad premises by the respective Assistant Returning Officers responsible for upazila elections. Polling in two upazilas will be held in a total of 163 centers including 100 centers in Manohardi upazila consisting of one municipality and 12 unions and 63 in Belab upazila consisting of 8 unions. 999 polling booths have been prepared for a total of 4 lakh 9 thousand 13 voters in two upazilas. In Manohardi, 5 candidates are contesting for the post of chairman, 7 candidates for the post of vice chairman and 4 candidates for the post of female vice chairman. Besides, 7 people are contesting for the post of chairman, 8 people for the post of vice chairman and 5 people for the post of female vice chairman in Belab Upazila.
