A welcome rally was held in Manohardi, Narsingdi, to mark the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan. On Saturday (March 1), under the initiative of the Islamic Foundation of Manohardi Upazila, a welcome rally was organized with the theme "Ahlan Sahlan, Mahe Ramadan" to celebrate the advent of the holy Ramadan of 1446 Hijri. During the rally, slogans such as "Respect the sanctity of Ramadan, it must be maintained" and "Keep hotels and restaurants closed during the day, it must be done" were chanted in honor of Ramadan. The rally commenced from Manohardi Bus Stand and marched through various streets of the market.
The rally was attended by the Field Supervisor of the Islamic Foundation in Manohardi Upazila, Muntaz Uddin, Model Caretaker Md. Abdus Salam, respected members of the Manohardi Upazila Press Club, Hafez Mawlana Tayyibur Rahman, and imams and muezzins from various mosques in the upazila.
