Rangpur Ansar Basic Training Concluding Ceremony Held: Deputy Director General says training knowledge, skills must be utilized in real life for welfare of country and society

The concluding ceremony of the sixth phase of Upazila and Thana Ansar Basic Training, organized by the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Forces of Rangpur district, was held on Saturday, December 6th, at the Mahiganj District Ansar-VDP Training Centre in the city. In Rangpur, certificates and commemorative mementos were distributed among 136 young, educated trainees who successfully completed the 14-day Upazila and Thana Ansar Basic Training. Mohammad Abdul Awal, BVM, PVMS, Deputy Director General of Rangpur Ansar and Village Defence Forces, was present as the chief guest at the event. He addressed the trainees with various instructive guidelines. He said patriotism, discipline, and a sense of responsibility are the core identity of Ansar. The knowledge and skills acquired in training must be applied in real life to work for the welfare of oneself, the country, and society. Trainees must apply their acquired competencies in every aspect of life to contribute to their own development and to play a role in protecting national security and sovereignty. Mohammad Abdul Awal, BVM, PVMS, Range Deputy Director General of Rangpur Ansar and Village Defence Forces, sincerely thanked the Director General of the force for initiating this groundbreaking training course activity, given the force's undertaking of many modern training programs and activities. In his speech, he inspired the trainees to take the training with the mission and vision of changing their fate and contributing to the country's development by utilizing Ansar basic training knowledge. At the concluding ceremony, the trainees took an oath and expressed their commitment to devote themselves to serving the country as proud members of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Forces. The event, presided over by Rangpur Ansar and VDP's District Commandant and Training Course Captain Rashedul Islam, BAMS, featured speeches by Circle Adjutant Md. Shahidul Islam and, on behalf of the trainees, Zahidul Islam Saikat. The event was conducted and hosted by Sadar Upazila Trainer Md. Maniruzzaman. During the training, the trainees practiced shooting in short bursts. Additionally, crests were awarded to 4 outstanding trainees for enhancing their skills through physical fitness, strategic exercises, and disciplined activities.
