After 2 days of disappearance in Naogaon, the body of a child named Swadhan was recovered from the river Chota Yamuna

Police recovered the body of a (3)-year-old child named Swadhin from Chota Yamuna river in Naogaon's Badalgachi. The body was recovered from a place called Selekali at Dakbungalow intersection of the upazila on Friday (June 7) at noon. The deceased child is the son of Jewel of Chakchaitanya village of Isabpur UP in Dhamuirhat upazila of Swadhin Naogaon district. Earlier, Swadhin was reported to have gone missing on June 5 at 1 p.m. The police and the locals said that many of the locals think of the body floating since morning as something else. At 1:00 p.m., the women of the area went to the side of the river and found the body floating. Hearing the words of the women, the fishermen immediately went down to the river and brought the body of the child to the river bank. After reporting the matter to the Badalgachi police station, SI Nihar Chandra went to the spot with the force, and the local mass media workers inquired about the matter on social media Facebook and in various surrounding areas, and the identity of the child was found.
Jewel, the father of the child, said that my son went missing last Wednesday around noon. Independent age 3 years 2 months. As my house is next to the river, I have searched the river many times up to Isabpur Bridge. After not getting it, miking was done in the area last Thursday. Suddenly today I came to know through an acquaintance from Badalgachi that the body of a child was found here and came to see my son's body. Badalgachi Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mahbubur Rahman said that the family has identified the body of the dead child. The body has been sent to Naogaon Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The body will be handed over to the family after the legal process.
