Bangladesh and Sri Lanka face each other in the 15th match of the ninth edition of the T20 World Cup which started in USA and West Indies. Bangladesh captain Nazmul Hossain won the toss and decided to field. Sent Sri Lanka into bat. Sri Lanka collected 124 runs in the last 9 wickets of the scheduled 20 overs. Opener Patum Nishanka scored 47 runs in 28 balls for them. Dhannanjay de Silva scored 21 runs off 26 balls. Mostafizur Rahman bowled 4 overs for Bangladesh and took 3 wickets with 17 runs. Rishad Hossain bowled 4 overs and took 3 wickets with 22 runs. Taskin Ahmed took 2 wickets. Soumya Sarkar went down to bat at the target of 125 runs and went back to zero runs for the Bangladesh team. After that, Bangladesh lost one wicket after another. Bangladesh reached the goal of victory by relying on Liton and Touhid Riday. Towhid Riday scored 40 runs in 20 balls for Bangladesh. Litton scored 36 runs off 38 balls.
