Drug user sentenced to imprisonment in mobile court in Rajbari.

A mobile court in Baliakandi, Rajbari, has sentenced a drug user named Asad Sheikh to imprisonment. He is the son of Abdul Latif Sheikh of the area. The operation was conducted on Monday morning in Chhoto Ghikmala village of Narua Union, Baliakandi Upazila. The mobile court was conducted by Assistant Commissioner (Land) Ehsanul Haque Shipon. Asad Sheikh was apprehended in an intoxicated state by a team led by Sub-Inspector Nasir Uddin of the Department of Narcotics Control. Subsequently, the mobile court, operating under the Narcotics Control Act, 2018, sentenced him to one month of simple imprisonment and imposed a fine of 100 Taka.
