The annual assembly of Ansar-VDP was held in four districts of the country.

To enhance the professional skills, rejuvenate, and boost the morale of the grassroots members of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force, annual district assemblies are being held across the country. As part of the ongoing series of district assemblies, on February 22, annual district assemblies were held simultaneously in four districts across the country. These assemblies, organized with great enthusiasm, inspiration, and colorful arrangements, were held in four districts simultaneously as part of the Annual District Assembly-2025.
At the Magura district assembly, held under the Khulna Range Command of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force, the Director-General, Md. Nurul Hasan Faridi, attended as the chief guest and delivered a speech outlining various directives for the organization, officers, and members. The Director of the Rajshahi Range, Ashish Kumar Bhattacharya, addressed the Bogura district Ansar-VDP assembly as the chief guest. The Director of the Rangpur Range, Md. Abdus Samad, attended the Nilphamari district assembly as the chief guest and delivered an important speech to the members. The Director of the Cumilla Range, Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman, graced the Feni district assembly as the chief guest and provided various directives. Senior officials, members, and invited guests from various departments participated in these annual district assemblies of the Ansar-VDP across the country. The events included releasing balloons and doves as symbols of peace, tree planting, discussion meetings, distribution of bicycles among VDP members, award ceremonies to recognize good work, distribution of allowances, fellowship meals, and cultural programs.
The chief guests at the district assemblies urged the Ansar-VDP members and all present to work together for the socio-economic development and public security of the country. They emphasized the undeniable role of this force in building a new Bangladesh. The current government has taken various steps to make this force more dynamic, effective, and modern. The chief guests expressed confidence that the force would soon become a contemporary and efficient organization. Each district assembly was attended by grassroots members, union leaders, male and female team leaders, upazila Ansar company members, administrative officers, invited guests, dignitaries, people from various walks of life, and media personnel.
