The winners of Naogaon's three upazila parishad elections are Shajahan , Morshed and Farid Ahmed

Naogaon's three Upazila Parishad elections were held in the 2nd phase. After the counting of votes, the results were announced on Tuesday (May 21) around 11 pm. Upazila Awami League vice president Shahajan Hossain Mondal has been privately elected Sapahar upazila chairman based on the results obtained. He was elected with 39 thousand 952 votes on the pineapple symbol. His nearest rival candidate Upazila Awami League president Shamsul Alam Shah Chowdhury got 34 thousand 527 votes in motorcycle symbol.
Porsha Upazila Awami League Vice President Principal Shah Manjur Morshed Chowdhury has been elected privately. He was elected by getting 26 thousand 214 votes in cup-pearl symbol. His nearest rival candidate Mofazzal Hossain Molla, General Secretary of Upazila Awami League, got 22 thousand 479 votes in horse symbol. Niamatpur Upazila Awami League Vice President Farid Ahmed was elected privately. He was elected by getting 44 thousand 707 votes in the motorcycle symbol. His nearest rival candidate, Upazila Awami League President Alhaj Abul Kalam Azad got 22 thousand 339 votes in the Cup Pirch symbol. All three of them were the current upazila parishad chairman and their winning results were announced privately by their respective upazila assistant returning officers and upazila executive officers.
Meanwhile, 56.55 percent voting in Sapahar upazila, 65.57 percent in Porsha upazila and 49.50 percent in Niamatpur upazila. Deputy Commissioner Golam Mawla confirmed the matter through a message to the Deputy Commissioner's media cell at night.
