A drawing competition on creating resources from solid waste was held in Dhamoirhat.

A cleanliness campaign, drawing competition, and a program for creating handicrafts from used plastic and paper were held at Shankarpur High School in Dhamoirhat Upazila, Naogaon, on Sunday, November 16, at noon. The event, aimed at ensuring effective waste management and environmentally friendly educational institutions, was organized by the Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO), funded by the Swiss government, and jointly supported by WaterAid Bangladesh and Swisscontact Bangladesh.
The chief guest at the campaign event was A.K.M. Azad, the Headteacher of Shankarpur High School. Also present were the teachers of Shankarpur High School, the Managing Committee President, all students, and ESDO's GoForImpact Programme Senior Officer Parveen Sultana, Union Outreach and Mobilization Officer Md. Osman Ali, among others.
A total of 62 students were awarded at the event, including those who secured 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in the drawing and handicraft competitions.
