Diversity and Harmony Festival held in Patnitala, Naogaon

In Patnitala Upazila of Naogaon, the "Diversity and Harmony Festival-2025" was held with the slogan "Unity in Diversity, Let's Build the Bond of Harmony." This day-long colorful event was organized at the Upazila Parishad hall room on the initiative of the Forb Youth Network and the Forb Forum. With the participation of people from various ethnic groups, religions, and races, the entire premises turned into a gathering of unity. The event was presided over by Munda community dance artist Biplob Kumar. It was inaugurated by Roni Islam. The chief guest of the event was Charles Reed, Director of the Church of England and Foreign Policy Advisor of the Operation Forb 'Agent of Change' project. Special guests present were Shashank Baran Roy, Senior Program Manager of The Hunger Project, Ruhi Naz, Program Advisor of the Forb Agent of Change project, and Mofazzal Hossain, President of Sujan (Citizens for Good Governance) Naogaon District Committee.
Also present at the event were Mizanur Rahman, Regional Coordinator of The Hunger Project, Area Coordinator Asir Uddin, President of Bangla Forb Forum Mariam Begum Shefa, and President of Naogaon District Forb Forum Sajedur Rahman Dulal, among others. The speakers said that people of various religions, races, and ethnic groups have been living in a harmonious environment in Bangladesh for a long time. This diversity is the symbol of our heritage and strength. They called upon the young generation to come forward to protect and develop this bond of harmony. The speakers further said that the practice of diversity and harmony increases tolerance in society and plays an important role in building a humane and peaceful society. At the beginning of the event, traditional dances and songs from various indigenous communities were performed, which captivated the audience.
