A half-yearly coordination meeting titled "Review of the Progress of Village Court Activities at the District Level and Action Plan" was held on 16/11/2025, organized by the Dinajpur District Administration. The District Commissioner, Mr. Rafiqul Islam, was present as the Chief Guest at the event. The meeting was presided over by the Deputy Director of Local Government, Dinajpur, Mr. Riaz Uddin. Speeches were given by various Upazila Executive Officers from the 13 upazilas of Dinajpur, the Deputy Director of the District Women Affairs Department, Mr. Morshed Ali Khan, the Deputy Director of the District Social Services Department, Mr. Abdul Matin, the District Manager (ESDO) of the Project for Activating Village Courts in Bangladesh Phase III, Mr. Abu Bakkar Siddique, and a representative from the Department of Youth Development.

The progress, achievements, and learnings of the activities at the district level were reviewed, and guidance on future actions was provided. Discussions were also held on the steps taken at the upazila level to activate Village Courts, the progress of Village Court activities upazila-wise, the existing challenges in the comparatively lagging unions, and necessary actions. Furthermore, an open discussion took place regarding existing problems at the union level and proposed suggestions.

The Bangladesh Activating Village Courts Phase III project is being implemented by the Local Government Division of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives. Accountant-cum-Computer Operators from 103 Union Parishads across the 13 upazilas were present at this half-yearly coordination meeting.
