A person named Anishur Rahman died due to electric shock in Naogaon

A person named Anichur Rahman (40) was killed by electrocution in Paharpur Union of Badalgachi Upazila of Naogaon. On Thursday (May 30) around 2:15 pm, at a place adjacent to the gate of Dharmapur Alim Madrasa on the Badalgachi-Naogaon road of the upazila. The deceased is the son of Mustafa of Goalvita village of Anichur. According to local sources, the deceased is a van driver. He left his house to dry the boiled rice on the side of the road. Matiur got electrocuted while climbing the roof of Master's new building. Locals rescued him from there and took him to Joypurhat Sadar Hospital where the doctor on duty declared him dead. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Badalgachi police station. Mahbubur Rahman said, after receiving the news, the incident site was visited. As there was no complaint from the family, the body was allowed to be cremated.
