Under the project "Expansion of Dairy Cooperative Activities in Milk-Deficit Upazilas" implemented by the Department of Cooperatives, loan checks were distributed among beneficiaries in Burichang. On Tuesday, February 18, at 11:00 AM, in the conference room of the Burichang Upazila Executive Officer, a total of 76 lakh 80 thousand taka in loan checks was distributed to 48 beneficiaries, with each receiving 1 lakh 60 thousand taka. The event was organized by the project director of the Department of Cooperatives, in collaboration with the Upazila Administration and the Upazila Cooperative Office.

The ceremony was presided over by Burichang Upazila Executive Officer Sahida Akter. The chief guest at the event was Kazi Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, Principal (Additional Registrar) of the Bangladesh Cooperative Academy. The program was conducted by Upazila Cooperative Officer Md. Mir Hossain. Special guests included Mohammad Helal Uddin, Joint Registrar of the Department of Cooperatives; Tofail Ahmed, Project Director of the "Expansion of Dairy Cooperative Activities in Milk-Deficit Upazilas" project; and Md. Salman Iqbal, District Cooperative Officer.

Speakers at the event included former Cooperative Officer Abdul Shahid, President of Burichang Press Club Kazi Khorshed Alam, Assistant Professor Md. Rabiul Alam of Fazlur Rahman Memorial College of Technology, Barura Upazila Cooperative Officer Md. Amir Ali, President of the Dairy Cooperative Md. Gias Uddin, and Upazila Assistant Cooperative Inspector Mahmuda Akter, among others. The event was attended by beneficiaries from various cooperative societies, as well as officers and staff of the Department of Cooperatives.
