"If reforms are to be made, they must be based on Zia's three ideologies: Gias Uddin Kader Chowdhury"
Daily Bijoy News, Manohardi, Narsingdi Correspondent:
BNP Vice Chairman Gias Uddin Kader Chowdhury has said that if reforms are to be made, they must be based on the three ideologies of Shaheed Zia. Shaheed Zia introduced Islamic values in this country, established Bangladeshi nationalism, and taught equality. The future of politics must be based on these three ideologies. If the constitution is to be reformed, it must be done on the foundation of these three pillars. He made these remarks at a rally organized by the Narsingdi District BNP on Saturday (February 22) afternoon, addressing various public demands, including keeping commodity prices at a tolerable level, improving law and order, countering the conspiracies of fallen fascist forces, and announcing a quick election roadmap. He further stated, "Be prepared, the movement is not over yet. We will have to make more sacrifices. Conspiracies are being orchestrated from across the border. The crime committed by India by sheltering the wicked woman (Sheikh Hasina) is unforgivable. Independence and sovereignty must be protected at any cost."
The rally, held at the Narsingdi Municipal Eidgah Ground, was presided over by Khairul Kabir Khokon, the convener of the district BNP and joint secretary general of the BNP, and conducted by Manjur Elahi, the member secretary of the district BNP. Other speakers at the rally included Kazi Saidul Alam Babul, Dhaka Divisional Organizing Secretary of BNP, Nazrul Islam Azad, Lt. Col. (Retd.) Zainul Abedin, Central Liberation War Affairs Secretary, former MP of Narsingdi-4 (Manohardi-Belabo) constituency Sardar Sakhawat Hossain Bakul, Abdul Kader Bhuiyan Jewel, Central Volunteer Affairs Co-Secretary, Ashraf Uddin Bakul, Science and Technology Affairs Co-Secretary, members Akramul Hasan Mintu, Iqbal Hossain Shyamal, Rashed Iqbal Khan, former MP and district BNP joint convener Begum Rokeya Ahmed Lucky, Abu Saleh Chowdhury, Harun Or Rashid, Din Mohammad Dipu, Akbar Hossain, Faruk Uddin Bhuiyan, Khabirul Islam Babul, Aminul Haque Bachchu, and others.
