Rural electricity transformer theft in Khidirpur, Manohardi

An incident of theft of rural electricity transformer took place at Manohardi in Narsingdi. On Wednesday (June 5) night, it was found that members of the gang of thieves stole two transformers from the rural electricity poles located in Bhanwar Maidan of Nayapara village of Khidirpur Union of the upazila. Locals believe that members of a gang of thieves committed the incident on Wednesday night when there was no electricity. Narsingdi Palli Vidyut Samiti-2 on Thursday morning in this regard Md. Enamul Haque, in-charge of Khidirpur complaint center under Manohardi zonal office, said, "We have received information about theft of transformer, we will go to the spot and take necessary measures." At this time, he also said that members of the thieves' gang have committed similar incidents in neighboring Domonmara, Krishnapur and Birgaon villages. This is causing problems to customers as well as the Palli Vidyut Samiti is also suffering financially, we are trying to catch this thief gang.
