Municipal level final of Bangabandhu and Bangamata Gold Cup football tournament was held in Gobindganj

Municipal level final match of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Bangmata Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib Gold Cup Primary School Football Tournament-2024 was held in Gobindganj, Gaibandhar. The final game of the tournament was inaugurated on Monday (June 10) at 4 pm at the Kuthibari Eidgah ground with the participation of 12 primary schools of the municipality. Gaibandha district Awami League member and municipal mayor Mukitur Rahman Rafi was present as the chief guest at the opening ceremony. Upazila Women Vice Chairman Papia Roy Pakhi was the special guest.

At that time Upazila Primary Education Assistant Education Officer Chayanika Khatun, Safia Khatun Government Primary School Principal Ajmal Hossain, Kuthibari Model Government Primary School Principal Omar Farooq, Gobindganj Government Primary School Principal Arifun Nahar, Boalia Government Primary School Principal Laila Hosneyara Mithu, Mohmuda Begum Mitu, head teacher of Bardhankuthi Government Primary School, Magura Keshabpur Government Primary School Principal Abdul Karim, Babanpur Government Primary School Principal Anishur Rahman, Kalikadoba Government Primary School Principal Khatija Begum, Panthapara Government Primary School Principal Tahmina Begum, Bujruk Boalia Government Primary School Principal Mahmuda Begum Kakuli, Khalsi Chandpur Government Primary School Principal Asma Begum along with office officials, teachers and students of various primary schools were present. Kalikadoba Government Primary School defeated Kuthibari Government Primary School 1-0 in the final game of Bangabandhu Gold Cup Primary School Football Tournament. Pantapara Government Primary School defeated Kuthibari Government Primary School 2-0 in the Bangmata Begum Fazilatunnecha Mujib Gold Cup.
