Shahadat Hossain Biplob, an accomplished son of Monohardi upazila in Narsingdi and a nomination aspirant for the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) from the Narsingdi-4 (Monohardi-Belabo) constituency, has been elected as the Member Secretary of the Agriculturist Association of Bangladesh (AAB).

In a press release signed by Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Senior Joint Secretary General of the BNP, on Saturday (October 4), a six-member convening committee was announced. The press release stated that the Agriculturist Association of Bangladesh's (AAB) convening committee has been formed with Dr. Kamruzzaman Kaisar from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University as the Convener and Shahadat Hossain Biplob from Mymensingh Agricultural University as the Member Secretary.

Furthermore, Shahadat Hossain Chanchal (Mymensingh Agricultural University) has been appointed as Joint Convener-1, Professor Abul Bashar (Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University) as Joint Convener-2, Dr. Shafiqul Islam Shafiq (Mymensingh Agricultural University) as Joint Convener-3, and Professor Jamshed Alam (Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University), among others, has been given the responsibility as Member (Office In-charge).

The notice instructed to form a full-fledged nine-member committee by adding one new member within the next two weeks.

The election of Monohardi's proud agriculturist, Shahadat Hossain Biplob, to this important position has created joy and pride locally. Concerned parties have expressed hope that his leadership will play a vital role in establishing farmers' rights, the overall development of the agricultural sector, and unveiling new horizons in agricultural research.
