Memorandum submitted to the Chief Advisor by the Retail Fertilizer Traders Association in Keshabpur.

In Keshabpur, a memorandum was submitted to the Honorable Chief Advisor of the Government of Bangladesh on behalf of the Keshabpur Upazila branch of the Bangladesh Retail Fertilizer Traders Association, demanding the retention of ID card-holding retail fertilizer traders and the issuance of T.O. licenses. On Tuesday, October 28, the memorandum was received on behalf of Upazila Executive Officer Reksona Khatun by Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land), Md. Sharif Newaz.
Present during the submission of the memorandum were, among others, Nazrul Islam, Convener of the Keshabpur Upazila branch of the Bangladesh Retail Fertilizer Traders Association, Member Secretary Abdul Wadud, former President S.M. Babar, and members of the convening committee such as Projit Majumdar, Rabi, Selim, Rezaul, Hasan, Alam, Parimal, Hozrot Ali, Basudev, Raju Ahmed, Abdul Alim, and others.
The memorandum demanded the retention of ID card-holding retail fertilizer traders and the issuance of T.O. licenses. They also expressed that if the long-standing retail fertilizer trade, which is their livelihood, is suspended, they would be left with nowhere to turn for supporting their families and shared concerns about an uncertain future for their households.
Prior to submitting the memorandum, a human chain was held at the Trimohini Square in Keshabpur town. A similar memorandum was later submitted to the Upazila Agriculture Officer.
