National Co-operative Day celebrated in Sapahar.

The 54th National Co-operative Day-2025 has been inaugurated in Sapahar, Naogaon, with the theme "Co-operatives will build the nation in equality and equity." The official opening of the day took place on Saturday (November 1) at 11 AM through the hoisting of the national and co-operative flags in front of the Extended Administrative Building of the Upazila Parishad, in a joint arrangement organized by the Upazila Administration, the Co-operative Department, and co-operative members. Following the flag hoisting, a colorful rally was brought out, which circled the Upazila Parishad complex and concluded back at the starting point. Afterwards, a discussion meeting was held in the Upazila Parishad hall room.

The chief guest at the event was Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Selim Ahmed. The meeting was presided over by Upazila Co-operative Officer S. M. Jahangir Alam. Speeches were given at the discussion meeting by members such as Atikur Rahman Bapi from the Sapahar Upazila Wholesale Mango Business Co-operative Society Limited, and Nuruzzaman, President of the Syedpur Fish Farmers Co-operative Society, among others. Officials from various government departments, representatives of co-operative organizations, and local co-operative members were present at the event.
