In Comilla-5 (Burichang-Brahmanpara) constituency, BNPA candidate Haji Jasim Uddin Jasim said, Tariq Rahman has given me the "Paddy Sheaf" candidacy. Giving this seat as a gift is my ethical responsibility. From today, go out and ask for votes for the Paddy Sheaf door to door. If you love me, love the Paddy Sheaf, love Tariq Rahman, now is the time to prove it. In this Burichang-Brahmanpara, BNP will work unitedly. He made these remarks as the chief guest at a discussion and road show in Burichang Upazila on Sunday afternoon.

Haji Jasim Uddin further said, on November 3, BNP awarded the Paddy Sheaf symbol in 237 constituencies. On that day, I was nominated in Comilla-5 constituency as your servant and as the captain of the Paddy Sheaf. For that, I give thanks to Allah. I am your long-time colleague, I have worked with you in this area for 30 years. This road show of yours has proven how much the people of Burichang love their colleague. I have been by your side, I am by your side, and I will be by your side until my death, God willing.

Presided over by Burichang Upazila BNP Senior Vice-President Advocate Shariful Islam, the meeting was conducted by Upazila BNP Organizing Secretary Humayun Kabir Babu.
