55 arrested for various crimes in Narsingdi

Efforts by the Narsingdi district police to curb crime have been further intensified. In the last 24 hours, police have arrested a total of 55 people involved in various crimes, including regular case accused, warrant-listed suspects, and drug dealers. Narsingdi Police Superintendent Mohammad Menhazul Alam, PPM, instructed all police stations and units in the district to remain active in the field as part of ensuring normal law and order and maintaining a strict stance against criminals. Following this directive, multiple teams of the district police conducted continuous raids. In an anti-drug operation, 70 pieces of Yaba tablets were recovered. During this time, three people involved in the drug trade were arrested and legal action has been taken against them. Relevant officers of the district police stated that the drive against crime will continue, and a zero-tolerance policy is being followed against drug dealing, extortion, snatching, and other criminal activities.
