Under the direction of the Naogaon Police Superintendent, 4 individuals including two real sisters were arrested with the recovery of 120 pieces of Yaba tablets.

Under the directives of Naogaon District Police Superintendent Mohammad Tariqul Islam and based on secret information, a vigilant team of the District Detective Branch (DB) Police conducted an anti-narcotics drive in the Dogachi area under Naogaon district sadar police station on Thursday, December 11th, around 4:15 PM. They arrested a total of 4 individuals, including two real sisters, during a drug transaction, along with 120 pieces of Yaba tablets. The arrested individuals are: Laboni (40), wife of Nahid from Dogachi village under Naogaon sadar police station, and her assisting sister Ayesha Shimu alias Jui; Rana (33), son of Azad from the same village; and Ripon (35), son of Babu.

Regarding this, Naogaon District Police Superintendent Mohammad Tariqul Islam stated that based on secret information about Yaba tablet transactions, the District Detective Branch (DB) conducted a drive. They recovered 100 pieces of Yaba tablets from Laboni and arrested her. Additionally, 10 pieces were recovered from Rana and 10 pieces from Ripon, leading to their arrests. Furthermore, during the operation, they also arrested Laboni's real sister Ayesha Shimu alias Jui, who was assisting the drug dealer Laboni. The District Police Superintendent further said that legal proceedings are underway against the 4 arrested individuals from whom a total of 120 Yaba tablets were recovered. He added that police operations against narcotics in Naogaon district will be further intensified.
