The closing ceremony of the 5th phase of the Upazila Ansar Basic Training Course, conducted under the Narail District Ansar VDP Office of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Forces, has been held. The closing ceremony took place on Wednesday at the District Training Office. The Chief Guest at the event was Mohammad Nurul Hasan Faridi, PVM, BVMSS, Range Commander of the Khulna Range of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Forces, who was present and delivered an instructive speech. The Special Guest present at the event was Mohammad Rabiul Islam, Superintendent of Police, Narail District.

The Chief Guest encouraged the 76 trainees who successfully completed the training, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of topics such as conventional and non-conventional warfare, doctrine, characteristics, leadership, community alert mechanisms, morality, values, good governance, and the role of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Forces, and motivated them to work in their respective positions. He also urged them to stand by the people as volunteers and sought the cooperation of enthusiastic Ansar members like them in building a new Bangladesh.

The Special Guest expressed hope that the Ansar basic trainees would enjoy the final rehearsal for the upcoming 13th National Parliament Election. He also provided various instructions regarding security and crowd control during electoral duties. He distributed awards among the 04 best trainees in Academic, Drill, Efficient, and Best Firer categories, along with distributing training certificates.

Presided over by the District Commandant, the event was attended by the Course Adjutant, Quarter Master, Instructors, and all others associated with the course. At the end of the ceremony, the trainees who completed the training took an oath and participated in a group photo session with the honored Chief Guest.
