Visit and Discussion of Bangladesh Diabetic Association's Representative Team to TMSS in Bogura

A high-level representative team from BADAS visited Bogura yesterday to review the implementation progress of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between TMSS, a top-tier national and international standard private development organization, and the Bangladesh Diabetic Association (BADAS), aiming to strengthen joint cooperation in developing the country's healthcare. The visiting team was welcomed by TMSS officials upon their arrival at the TMSS office. Subsequently, a review and discussion meeting was held between BADAS officers and TMSS officers. Representatives from both organizations participated in the discussion meeting. Present at the discussion from the BADAS representative team were: Syed Rezwanul Kabir, Secretary of BADAS National Council and Chairman of the MoU Implementation Committee; Advisor, Cardiac Projects Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rashid; Prof. Dr. M. A. Showkat Hasan from BIRDEM General Hospital; and Md. Abu Taher Khan, BADAS Secretary and Implementation Committee member. Representing TMSS were: noted social worker, educationist, Director of Ansar-VDP Development Bank, founding Executive Director of modern TMSS, beacon of the current era Prof. Dr. Hosne-Ara Begam; TMSS Deputy Executive Director-2 Rotarian Dr. Md. Matur Rahman; Principal of TMSS Medical College Prof. Dr. Md. Zakir Hossain; Domain Head of Medical Education-1 Prof. Dr. Md. Anup Rahman Chowdhury; Head of Training and Education Sector Foyjun Nahar; former Director of Human Resources and Administration Department Shahjadi Begam; Director of TMC and RCH Dr. F.M. Musa Al Manzur; Domain Head of Medical Education-2 Dr. A.H.M. Akhtaruzzaman; and Director of Program-2 Abdus Salam, among others. During the discussions, the BADAS representative team highly praised TMSS's various initiatives and services in the health sector. They expressed their commitment to work more closely with TMSS in the future to improve the quality of healthcare services. The representative team visited various modern healthcare centers run by TMSS, including the Biomolecular Lab, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lamb Center, and Physiotherapy Center, and inquired about the ongoing treatment activities. It was hoped that this integrated initiative between TMSS and BADAS would play a helpful role in further enriching the country's healthcare system. Also present at this time were, among others, Senior officials of TMSS and the Executive Director's Personal Secretary, overall Md. Ferdous Rahman.
