Two brothers were abducted by a gang of kidnappers while they were going to see a fountain in Baharchhara Noakhali Para area of ​​Teknaf in Cox's Bazar. The two abducted victims are Faizul Karim Riyad (30) and Reduan (22), son of Mostak Ahmad of Satkaniya East Rupkaria area, owner of Ett Electric & Library shop in Teknaf Abu Hanif Market. The incident took place on Friday (May 24) afternoon in Teknaf's Baharchhara Noakhali neighborhood hilly area.

The victim's uncle said, in the morning my two nieces were taken away by the store employee saying that they were going to see the fountain in Baharchhara Noakhali neighborhood. I went to Goheen Hill and saw 5-6 kidnap gang members standing with weapons. When he saw them and ran away, he cut Riyad with a knife and left him bleeding. After Riyad ran away, Reduan could not come. I informed the police. The injured Riyad was rescued by locals in Teknaf When he was taken to the hospital for treatment, the doctor on duty said that he was referred to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital as his condition was alarming.

Dastgir Hossain Chowdhury, Sub-Inspector of Baharchhara Investigation Center, said that the shop employee took Baharchhara to the hill and handed it over to the robbers after seeing a fountain in Noakhali neighborhood. After receiving the information, the police of Baharchhara Investigation Center are conducting an operation to rescue the abducted person, Reduan, from Goheen Hill. Meanwhile Teknaf Model Police Station Officer-in-charge OC Usman Gani confirmed the matter and said the operation will continue until the victim is rescued.
