Rice distribution at Fair Price in Galachipa ensures transparency and accurate weight.

In Wards No. 1 and 2 of Golkhali Union under Galachipa Upazila of Patuakhali district, rice has been distributed among Fair Price Cardholders at the government-fixed price and with accurate weight. The rice distribution program was conducted by local dealer Hafez Md. Kaiyum. He distributed 29 kg and 600 grams of rice each among a total of 387 beneficiaries. Each family received the rice at the government-fixed price of 15 Taka per kg. Golkhali Union's Tech Officer, Mosammat Manira Sultana Munni, was present during the rice distribution. The distribution was completed smoothly, maintaining transparency and following government guidelines in her presence.

Many of the rice recipients stated that they are very satisfied to receive rice at the government-fixed price and with accurate weight. They praised this initiative and called for its continuation in the future. Regarding this, the Interim Government's Chief Advisor, Professor Dr. Md. Yunus, said, "The Fair Price activity plays an important role in ensuring food security for the low-income people of the country." Local residents have also agreed with this view.
