Mobile court fines unhygienic bakery in Manohardi

A mobile court in Manohardi, Narsingdi has fined a bakery for producing food products in an unhygienic and unclean environment. The operation was conducted on Wednesday afternoon (October 29) in various areas of Manohardi Municipality by Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate, Mr. Md. Sajib Mia.
During the raid, it was found that various food products, including bread, cakes, and biscuits, were being manufactured on unclean surfaces and with dirty machinery. Subsequently, the owner of the bakery was fined for non-compliance with health regulations and was instructed to ensure production takes place in a clean environment going forward.
The Upazila Sanitary Inspector, Mohammad Shahnewaz, and members of the Manohardi Thana Police were present during the operation. The Executive Magistrate leading the operation stated, "Such drives will continue regularly in the public interest."
