Mobile court in Narsingdi: Fine collected.

A mobile court was conducted on Monday, the 18th of November, at a bakery factory in Shilmandi Union of Narsingdi Sadar Upazila. Some unscrupulous businessmen are running bakeries arbitrarily without following the rules and regulations, preparing food items in unclean and dirty environments. In continuation of this, on the initiative of the Narsingdi District Administration, a fine of one lakh taka was collected from one person in a case under the relevant section of the Safe Food Preservation Act, 2013. The mobile court was conducted by Upazila Executive Officer Sadar and Executive Magistrate Asma Jahan Sarkar. During the mobile court operation, a team from the District Food Safety Officer, District Sanitary Inspector, and Model Thana Police provided overall assistance. Administrative officers stated that such operations will continue.
