The administration has issued section 144 in Thakurgaon's 'Svarna Pawa' brick kiln

In Katihar Bazar area of Ranishankail Upazila of Thakurgaon District, thousands of people of the district were digging day and night in search of gold in the RBB Brickyard for the past few days. Later, considering the security risk, the administration issued Section 144 in the brickyard, which came into force from 10:30 pm on Saturday (May 25). On Saturday (May 25) evening Ranishankoil Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Rakibul Hasan issued a circular and informed this information.
It is said in the notification, in the village of Rajor on the north side of Katihar Bazar belonging to No. 5 Bachor Union of Ranishankoil police station. Ruhul Amin's owned RBB brickyard is digging up earthen piles to find gold. On such news, many people from different places including local people started digging the soil with sticks, spades etc. for quite some time. Every day they are looking for gold in that place. As a result, aggressive people are indulging in quarrels, quarrels and conflicts in the hope of getting gold.
It is also mentioned that if people dig the ground every day to look for gold, there is a possibility of deterioration of the law and order situation with fights, murders, injuries at any time. Therefore, on the instructions of the District Commissioner, section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code has been issued in and around the brickyard area to keep the law and order situation normal.
It should be noted that soil was excavated from the side of Katihar Samrai Temple and piled in the brick kiln. Rumor has it that gold objects have been found in that mound. Since then, the common people have been digging and sorting the heaps of that soil day and night. But someone has got gold, there is confusion among everyone. No one is giving correct information.
